Small Business Web Design

Financial Advice Website

One of my latest projects was a clean corporate design for a financial advisor. The client’s original website was a dated html site, which needed updating into a WordPress website. They also had to keep all their backlinks and Google ranking in place, which I was able to do.

The client had a specific need to have the contact form displayed on as many pages as the design would allow, so utilising the sidebar space, I incorporated a pop out contact form. This works on all browsers and remains fixed as the user scrolls down the page.

Other functionality included testimonial carousel, and large homepage image slider.

Easy navigation was the key on this brief, with the user being able to see all available services from the homepage.

Another client very satisfied with the results at a cost of only £150.

Construction Company Web Design

A recent website for a construction company saw me create a clean, easy to navigate website, with multiple pages, and large home page dynamic slider.

All functionality also works on mobile and tablet. The site has a latest developments section that is easy for the site owner to update. A testimonials carousel was also added in the footer space. I also designed the logo, to be used on the site plus letterheads and business vehicles.

Overall a tidy design that was very well received by the client.

The website can be viewed here.

SIA Licence Hub – A website for the UK Security Community

This recent small business web design project was an online community hub for the security industry. A place for those wanting to get their SIA licence and training, and then ongoing career advice.

The site is completely responsive design, and has a lot of social media function in order for the community to grow.

A useful feature of the site is a map, showing SIA training courses throughout the UK. This is a clickable vector map, meaning visitors to the website can choose to see training courses available in their area.

The business wanted a site based on a blog design as new information will be submitted on a regular basis.

Hotdesk Here – Google Map Integrated Web Design

Hotdesk Here is a powerful website fully integrated with Google Map capabilities. This function is very useful if you wish visitors to your website to quickly find information relevant to their location.

The site was designed so that visitors can easily add their own adverts. Customers of the site are encouraged to add their details regarding office and desk space in London. Many more cities can also be added.

The website also has a fully secure payment method installed. Customers can submit their advert and pay via Paypal or Credit Card. The site is fully automated to this end. With all this functionality, the client still received the finished product online with 2 weeks for £500.

A very powerful yet flexible site design.
